For this client we wanted to construct a large table that fit with their accessibility needs and aesthetic desires. The single-sided leg detail, in tandem with the island mounted support, allow for more open space under the table for moving around. We also designed the table to protrude from the island to allow for easier transporting of kitchen and food items between the preparation and dining spaces.

The table top of this is in maple while the legs are in hickory.
