At this client's home, there was an existing bookshelf that they had been utilizing as a dry bar, but had reached its limitations in function and aesthetics. They reached out with the desire to overhaul the small space as an extension of their living room to improve their hosting abilities.
The upper cabinet includes slider doors to conceal an adjustable shelf for glasses and smaller items, while the upper open shelves are extra tall to accommodate various bottle heights.
The lower cabinet has a door on one side with adjustable shelves and three drawers on the opposite side, one for small items and two that are deep for extra storage.
While the overall footprint of this project was quite small, the addition of this custom dry bar drastically improved the visual impact and functionality of the space.
